Our vision…
To promote the establishment and maintenance of high quality preschool educare programmes in the Kirstenhof and surrounding areas. The school is fully registered with the Department of Social Development.
As a Christ-centered institution Tiny Tots strives to assist parents and caregivers to raise children who are not only mainstream school-ready, but who are also exposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe this will strengthen and assist them in facing up to the moral challenges that affect most children and families today.
“From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank each and every one of you for being amazing teachers and contributing to Keagan’s development. We have loved been part of Tiny Tots for the last 4 and half years and quite sad that this journey has come to an end. We are certainly going to miss you. Keagan has loved every minute of school and made some super friends and its credit to a fantastic team!” – Sally, mom to Keagan
We’re About The Little People…
QUALIFIED TEACHERS
Our qualified teachers are dedicated experts who bring knowledge, passion, and experience to help every child.
PRACTICAL LEARNING
Practical learning helps small children explore, create, and understand the world through hands-on experiences.
PARENTS WELCOME
We warmly welcome parents to our preschool, where your child’s learning journey begins in a safe, caring, and inspiring environment.
REGULAR EVENTS
We hold regular events at our preschool to celebrate learning, creativity, and community together with families.
Our classes
Pooh bears
Our baby class is deliberately restricted to no more than 6 children at any time. We believe in catering to each child’s individual needs in order to give them the best possible advantage.
Little Roo’s
This class caters for children between 1 – 2 years of age. We only accept children once they are sturdy on their legs and fully mobile. The focus is on free play (both in and outdoor), exploration and simple art activities.
Tiggers
It is in this age group that little personalities start to really shine through. Recognising this, the Tiny Tots Tiggers team does not stifle individuality but rather encourages children to express themselves in a safe and loving environment.
Owls
Our 3 – 4 year olds are developing their interpersonal and social skills. Daily routines are well established by now and the children thrive in this loving environment.
Lions
An important year as these children continue their journey towards Grade R. Focus is placed on achieving certain pre-determined milestones that children are expected to achieve. The structured curriculum and theme work is closely followed and monitored.
Grade R
The focus in this class is to ensure that the children are ready for Grade 1. The Tiny Tots Grade R teachers follow a carefully structured school readiness programme that has been thoroughly researched and tested. Reading, writing, maths and concentrations skills are nurtured and developed.
Aftercare
The Tiny Tots Aftercare has a focussed approach by only servicing Kirstenhof Primary School learners.
Children are fetched daily, either after the completion of the formal school day or after their individual extramural programmes.
